Sacred Earth

Her deep roots
Purposefully stitched
Into the hemline of
Her summertime frock,

She is
Nestled among the mosses,
And the moist
Unfurling ferns

A gentle stream
Curls up beside her

Flora and fauna
Inhale her
Sultry perfume

A collar of iridescent dragonflies
Bejewels her neck

Here in her
Forest of the deep,
She composes...

Letters of Love

Her devotion flows
Like thick
Golden
Honey

Berry ink,
Oak leaf parchment,

She tenderly binds them
With slivers of
Slender grass...

Trusting one pale dove
To carry her
Messages of the Heart

To her Beloved;

Who shines
Like diamonds
In the afternoon sky

Now she rests...
Drifting into slumber

Dreaming...
Of her wedding day;

Holy Darkness
Holy Light

Earth and Heaven

In
One
Eternal
Embrace
