Lalita's Approach

I have heard your long skirts
rustling upon the earth
as you make your approach,

waking the sleeping seeds,
exciting the bindu

oh, Lalita,
again,
I invite you in…

run through me;
your breath like a breeze
in my fields of tall summer grasses,
swaying to your caress…

your presence;
seduction enough,
that I drop everything
to take my seat at your feet,
in rapt attention

show me who I am;
as I offer myself
as home to you

clear the altar of my heart
so that I might hear
your intoxicating song
at full volume

render me
open
soft
yours
